It’s that time of year! Fall and winter rains fill the creeks, rivers and waterfalls. There was a break in the rain today so we revisited Christy Falls, one of our favourites. It’s lovely 7 km through the forest with a short climb up to the falls.
There are really two sets of falls. The first one is a very tall cascade. The spray today soaked us and our glasses but the thundering water was fun to see and experience.
A few steps away are the main falls. The thunder resonated in our chests as we watched the water.

One of the best things today was that we saw our shadows! Sunshine and blue skies have been in short supply recently so we felt a little bit like Wiarton Willy. Hopefully there will be more days like this to come.
Beautiful!!
