We took full advantage of the extended great weather and squeezed in another hike yesterday.
Each hike we do provides a new experience. This hike was on the base of Mt. Prevost and we thoroughly enjoyed the mixed forest of deciduous and fir trees which was more pronounced than other hikes we have done.
The contrast was accentuated by the fact that the deciduous trees were in full yellow glory, providing a beautiful contrast to the green firs. Even though, as always, the trees were towering, the limited undergrowth provided an airy feeling.

The leaves were falling and carpeted the forest floor,

And we enjoyed the babbling brook,

as well as a lovely waterfall, framed in yellows.

We found some natural abstract art as well:

All in all a great day to be outside, enjoying the sunshine and another wonderful hike.

Those fall colours are pure bliss
