One of the big differences we have noticed at this time of year is the longer days. Ladysmith is on the 49th parallel; Ottawa is at 45.5. So we still have sunsets at 10pm at this time of year.

It was a beautiful evening with a prolonged sunset that changed as the time went on. It was a treat to sit on the deck and watch the show of colors and clouds.

It is now 10 pm and there is still color in the sky. What a treat.
